XENO-LUNGENTRANSPLANTATION

Unser vorläufiges Ziel ist die Vorbereitung präklinischer porcin-xenogener Lungentransplantationsstudien im Großtiermodel. Vor diesem Hintergrund stehen daher derzeit folgende Forschungsschwerpunkte:

1.) Die Identifizierung notwendiger wie auch zielführender genetischer Modifikationen der Donorschweine

2.) Die Etablierung geeigneter ex vivo-Perfusionsen zur Analyse sowie Modifikation der Schweinelungen

3.) Die Entwicklung optimierter Immunsuppression, Immunmodulation und Toleranzinduktion
