In vivo angiogenesis models and biocompatibility.

Our research focuses on angiogenesis and biocompatibility. We analyze the dynamic development of the microcirculation in different physiological settings like soft tissue, desmal or chondral bone using in vivo small animal models, which allow a repetitive observation. To validate our in vivo data, we further analyze specimen by histological methods. The group has extensive experience in histological and immunohistological techniques with a special emphasis on examination of hard-tissue.
