As part of the International Laboratory Animal Day, NIFE organized an extremely successful and well-attended event. Various scientific models were presented in several lectures, always focusing on the 3R principle - Replace, Reduce, Refine. It was shown how responsible action can reduce and improve animal testing and promote alternatives. At the same time, it was emphasized that an open dialogue with the public is essential in order to explain transparently why animal testing is still necessary in certain areas and how it is handled responsibly.
