Theragnostic mechatronics

The expectations for mechatronic systems for medical interventions are complex: minimal trauma, highest precision for maximum safety and also good operability. The goal of our research is intelligent, mechatronic assistance systems that meet these requirements in the best possible way. In close collaboration with physicians, engineers and computer scientists, we develop innovative approaches for diverse medical applications that combine state-of-the-art information technology, imaging and mechatronic components.
